Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme where every Tuesday we look at a particular topic for discussion and use various (or more to the point, ten) bookish examples to demonstrate that particular topic. BOOKS ON MY FALL 2021 TO-READ LIST
We are all painfully aware of how even the best reading plans can be subverted by the appearance of a new, intriguing book or the desire to move forward with a favorite series, or… well, you know the drill 😀
So, even though there is a number of books I’ve ben wanting to read for some time, I know that any kind of promise I make to myself does not stand on very solid ground – but I can at least try. Today’s list is equally split between Fantasy and Science Fiction, and starting with Fantasy, here are the books I plan (or rather hope…) to read this fall:
Only time will tell, of course….
Science fiction books have a slightly better chance of making it into my TBR, since SciFi November is approaching rapidly and I need to stock up on SF reads to be able to contribute adequately to one of my two favorite blogging events of the year. Here are my choices:
A couple of these are already loaded on my e-reader, so I am almost certain they will make the list. Other than that, I can only cross my fingers and hope that no other shiny titles will come to distract me from this… ahem… righteous path 😀
What about you? What are your reading plans for this fall?
I love your Fall TBR! I’m also trying to squeeze in Jade War so I can read the third book on time. And your mention of Sci Fi Month has me giddy with excitement!!

SciFi Month and Wyrd & Wonder are the two highlights of the blogging year, so I’m more than looking forward to both of them 🙂

I prefer your fantasy tbrs over the scifi- but not by much! I also have to get around to reading “The Last Kingdom.” Hopefully I will be inspired by your great efforts!

I like to share (more or less equally) my choices between the two genres, so I hope you will find some good choices among those listed – and happy reading! 🙂

I’ve been postponing it far too long, so it’s time for me to pick it up, and soon! 🙂

Some kick-ass titles in there and hope you get to read them all. I so want to get a hold of The Exiled Fleet.

The Divide looked like a very promising series from book 1, so I too look forward to seeing how the story progresses 🙂

Whoop whoop for The Last Kingdom and Ninefox Gambit!!! 😀 And Abercrombie, obviously – especially considering it’s Logen’s book! 😀

Book 3 is just behind the corner, and I’m SO late in getting on track with the series!

Many, if not all, of these are series I’d like to try. And I do have some of the earlier books, just haven’t read any of them yet. 🙂

The usual problem of “too many good books, too little time”… We need 48-hours days! 😉

I’ve not got any specific plans cos I don’t do TBRs but a bunch of these are on my ‘general TBR list’ too. I’ll probs be reading a bunch of sci-fi and horror though, what with sci-fi month and Halloween just around the corner. There’s a few small press horror books I’ve had my eye on, The Worm and His Kings by Hailey Piper and the new ash key story collection from Eric LaRocca that I may just pick up for spooky season 🙂

I’m a bit behind with my SF readings for November, so I doubt I will be able to fulfill my Halloween-themed wishlist, but I will take a peek at the titles you mentioned – just in case… 😉

Both Light Chaser and Day Zero will feature among my reviews for the ongoing SciFi Month, so… stay tuned! 🙂
